  1. I see that the handbrake files that you used here is still the old one (February 2, 2016)which was corrected by handbrake team. since v.0.10.5 they removed support for FDK-AAC but in their initial release, this option was still there although not functional. So they revised their installer after a few days after Feb. 2 release. You may want to change to the latest v.0.10.5 of handbrake.

  3. I have an odd thing that keeps happening every time I update Handbreak. I start the process, choose x64, then prompted with a white box with no text. I'm assuming it should say something like "Are you sure?" or some other type of confirmation. Clicking OK continues the install, clicking cancel stops the installer.

    1. You are attempting to update a previous portable of Handbrake, yes? That popup occurs when you are updating a portable that was made by a different person, or is somehow different than the portable you are trying to install.

Try moving the Data folder of your current Handbrake to another location, delete that old portable and install this latest build, then move Data folder to new portable's folder.

    2. That's in a few of my apps where I edited a FG installer. I've been trying to fix it for ages. Of course it's safe to click OK and the right thing to do. I'll keep working on it.

    3. I had that same issue after I updated my portable of Slimjet. I changed something that made the new installer give me that weird empty popup while trying to update my local portable.

Clicking the "OK" button forced the installer to wipe my Data folder. I believe the cause is due to a change in Launcher.ini

    4. It deleted my Data folder, but both Launcher.Ini were identical.

    5. That's odd. I never found out what was causing that popup. Instead I had to tell users to backup their Data folder, update the portable, then move Data folder back. That was the only way to circumvent the issue.

    6. My latest test had no Data folder, it's somewhere in the FG nsi file. I'm not using the PortableApps Installer. It's still odd though.

  4. Thanks, Dave. I have never found out what"DC" means.
I have seen many different apps that say DC but searches never tell me anything.
Is it like a beta ?
