  1. Hello,

    I used your DriverBoosterPortable_4.0_Beta_1.paf.exe and found leftovers in:

    1. \AppData\Roaming\IObit
    2. \AppData\LocalLow\IObit
    3. C:\ProgramData\IObit

    I don't exactly know how to find leftover registry keys, but these registry keys I found when I searched "IObit" I'll mention them and you can check them out if you want:

    1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU\1\0\6
    2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU\4\1\0
    3. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU\4\1\1

    Sorry for making this long comment I thought I should noted out.

    Best Regards,

    1. I did my best to make the program cleanup properly but unfortunately IObit software is bloated. Driver Booster creates files/entries for Advanced SystemCare and other junk.

      I will see if Dave Green can make it proper.

    2. Those registry entries are unavoidable. MRU=most recently used.
      1. \AppData\Roaming\IObit
      2. \AppData\LocalLow\IObit
      3. C:\ProgramData\IObit
      didn't get left behind when I tested. Delete them and test again.

    3. Thanks you so much guys for taking a look at it.
      Deleted all the leftovers I found then downloaded the Driver booster 4 paf again from the link above (just in case).

      Results:

      1. \AppData\Roaming\IObit ------> is deleted.
      2. \AppData\LocalLow\IObit ------> still there, Not deleted.
      3. C:\ProgramData\IObit ------> is deleted.

      Running Windows 7 sp1 x64

      P.S. I think now I know why 1 & 3 weren't deleted previously. When I was updating my drivers the program went to Not responding condition and after that I forced it to close.
      this time it was working and updated my drivers without problems which only resulted in point "2".

      Again thank you so much. I'm sorry didn't mean to bother you with my ignorance.

    4. Yesterday I got the chance to test it on a different Laptop (new format) and I got the same leftovers from my 1st post. If you don't mind me asking.. when you tested it did you try to download and install drivers and game component drivers ?

    5. This post should actually be deleted. I can't get the Driver Booster service to close when the program closes, which is why there is leftovers. The launcher is set to not cleanup until the service's process is closed.
